Welcome to Mimir’s Well

Ullr’s Crafts has moved!

Mimir’s Well is the new home of Ullr’s Crafts. As part of expanding areas and topics that I want to cover and write about, I found that Ullr’s craft was ever so slightly restrictive in scope.

For that reason, we moved to a more permissive scope. But to maintain some degree of organisation in the topics. I decided to retain Ullr’s crafts as a folder up in the top corner. In that area the focus will remain on the historical and modern crafts of archery.

Gjallarhorn

From old, the Gjallarhorn was the drinking vessel Mimir used to dispense from his well of knowledge to the other aesir.

In the same fashion, our Gjallarhorn holds writings on a large number of topics; there is no real theme to it. But instead, knowledge is collected and shared.

Ullr’s Crafts

I started this page showcasing the work I do as a Bowyer and a fletcher. I would also occasionally publish an article on the subject. So if you are interested in bows, Arrows, or Traditional archery-related stuff, this is the place to go.

Mimir’s Books

As part of our research into history, archaeology, philosophy, agriculture, and other subjects, we read a large number of books. Some of these books actually hold value or are interesting. Some of them fly under the radar in today's social media-driven book hype. We like books. We like to share books. Talk about books.

So that is what we will do, talk about books in Mimir’s Books.
